Application Scope Of Heavy
Below the waterline when the ship is fully loaded and above the load waterline, openings on the ship’s side, such as bulkhead or superstructure side openings, must be watertight and airtight.
Application Scope Of Medium
On passenger ships, the ends of the ship’s sides or superstructures above the cabin bulkhead deck or the weather deck. On non-passenger ships, both sides and ends of the first tier of superstructures on the weather deck.
Application Scope Of Light
On passenger ships, the sides and aft ends of the first tier and upper tiers of superstructures above the cabin bulkhead deck or the weather deck. On non-passenger ships, the sides and aft ends of the upper walls above the first tier of superstructures on the weather deck.
