Pneumatic rubber fenders use compressed air as a buffer medium to absorb the impact energy of vessels. Compared to traditional compression fenders, they have the following advantages: high energy absorption, low reaction force, large contact area with the vessel, low unit surface pressure on the vessel, no performance degradation under tilted compression, and easy installation. They can be applied for mooring in all directions and are widely used in offshore mooring.
